At T•Surprise, we love the hunt. Yes, you read that right. We're all hunters… of surprises! We love creating wonder so much that it's become an obsession. We constantly challenge ourselves to find teas, treats, accessories, and arrangements that will dazzle our subscribers. To achieve this, finding partners with a unique concept or product has become essential.
The process is simple: find a collaborator who, like us, loves to dazzle the eyes and taste buds. That's what we call opening the season for partner hunting! This summer, our search paid off. Two new partners have joined our roster of surprise-makers. One is a tea partner, the other a gourmet partner. Their creations are featured in this month's box, themed "In the Comfort of Routine." Let me introduce them to you.
The House of Herbs, Hemp and Co. – tea partner
In June, Nancy Belval, Quebec's first certified tea sommelier and partner of Maison d'Herbes, offered us an exceptional tasting experience with her hemp tea samples. This is precisely the niche explored by this Drummondville tea house, which offers over 150 varieties of tea in its shop (both in-store and online). Around the steaming teapot, we were immediately charmed by the subtle and fragrant taste of the hemp Cream Oolong tea Nancy offered. The rest of the tasting allowed us to savor different teas with exclusive flavors. It was therefore without hesitation that this company, offering a wide range of teas, body care products, food, clothing, and accessories crafted by local artisans, became a partner of the wonderful T•Surprise.
Choupette Chocolat – a gourmet partner
While the cicadas sang, we knocked on the door of a local company that offers amazing sweet and savory treats: Choupette Chocolat. Combining childhood memories with a touch of whimsy, the chocolate bars crafted by Choupette Chocolat's master chocolatiers are sure to surprise. Mélanie Gigounoux, the business development manager, suggested we include the Fine Chocolate and Popcorn bar, an ingenious blend of 48% fine chocolate, popcorn, fleur de sel, and maple flakes, in our monthly box. We said yes. In the comfort of routine, what could be better than quirky flavors? Even better, an upcoming box will revisit one of our guilty pleasures: the classic chips and chocolate, in the form of a 45% fine chocolate bar with potato chips, maple flakes, and fleur de sel. In the space of a bite bitten into the Fine Chocolate and Crisps bar, Choupette Chocolate has become an indispensable gourmet partner T•Surprise.
