Preparing bubble tea
Preparing bubble tea is relatively simple but requires following several steps. Here are the 5 steps to follow for a Exquisite bubble tea !
Step 1
Heat the water, but do not boil it, to about 90 degrees Celsius. Infuse 1 teaspoon of black or green tea, according to your preference, in 150 ml of water. Let it cool if you wish. Cold bubble tea !
Step 2
Cook the Tapioca pearls . In a saucepan, add 30 grams of tapioca pearls, then add 300 ml of water and a teaspoon of sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. The cooking time will vary depending on your preference; if you want the pearls firmer or softer, reduce the cooking time.
Once cooked, drain them and rinse under cold water.
Step 3
Prepare the sugar liquid by dissolving 33 grams of sugar in 33 ml of boiling water. Reduce the amount of sugar if desired.
Step 4
Mix the tea, add the same amount of milk (150 ml), then add the flavoring powder and 2-3 tablespoons of sweetened liquid to a shaker. Blend everything together, add ice cubes if you want your bubble tea cold, and blend again.
Step 5
Pour the tapioca pearls into a glass, add your mixture, and stir!
