A tea for every moment of the day

Un thé pour chaque moment de la journée
Tea can be enjoyed throughout the day, but some are better suited to specific times than others. Green tea, energizing tea, detoxifying tea, or relaxing tea… how do you know which tea to drink and when? In this article, we offer a short guide to a typical day to help you choose the right type of tea.

Morning tea

We drink morning tea for several reasons: first, to quench our thirst; after a long period of fasting, the body needs hydration! Second, to wake up, boosting our body and mind for a good day, but finally and most importantly, for its subtle and delicious taste!
  • Here are some teas perfect for a pleasant morning:
  • Green tea: for its energizing, invigorating properties and its delicious flavor!
  • Black tea; this is the tea richest in theine, it will definitely wake you up!
  • Jasmine tea: a subtle floral note, an energizing and invigorating tea
  • Oolong tea and white tea: for a gentle awakening

Midday tea

After a hearty lunch, nothing beats enjoying a good cup of tea to help you digest! If you're more of a coffee drinker, swap it for a... cup of tea Just as energizing, but which will also have a beneficial effect on your digestion and therefore your intestinal health!
THE green teas or the oolong teas They are perfect for speeding up your digestion but also for a little boost after a meal, a good time for a nap…
You can also enjoy mint green teas , rosemary teas or even a lemon tea Excellent for the liver!

Afternoon tea

To stay awake and full of energy at work, or to unwind at the end of the day, treat yourself to a little tea break! Choose the tea that brings you the most pleasure, a fruity tea , a Gourmet tea , caramel, vanilla, mint-chocolate, why not…
If you're feeling a little tired, have a nice cup of black tea, it will help you get through it :)
In the afternoon, a drop in energy can also be linked to a slight lack of sugar, so feel free to accompany your cup of tea with some biscuits, dried fruit or nuts of any kind!

Evening tea/infusion

After a busy day, back home, we prepare supper, pack our things for the next day, take the time to eat, put the children to bed… and finally we allow ourselves a moment for ourselves!
To extend the evening, opt for a a relaxing infusion , or a rooibos tea (which does not contain caffeine). Evening is the perfect time to relax and enjoy a good herbal tea! Furthermore, if you have trouble falling asleep, some herbal teas can help you drift off, such as Chamomile, linden
