Tip 101: Don't throw away your tea!

Conseils 101: Ne jeter pas votre thé!
Nothing is lost, everything is transformed; this expression is perfectly valid with tea! Discover some tips for recycling your tea bags or loose leaf tea.

Reuse your tea bag a second time!

Did you know that a single tea bag can easily make two cups? And if it's a fairly strong tea, like green or black, it can easily provide two cups. The second cup can be lighter, perfect for a late afternoon.

Add flavor to the cooking water: pasta, rice, potatoes…

A little-known but very popular tip is to use (light) teas or herbal infusions to flavor the cooking water. For example, jasmine tea is perfect for flavoring rice water.

Feed your plants

Tea is an excellent fertilizer for your houseplants. Outdoors, you can fertilize your plants with tea by sprinkling it around them. It also repels rodents. Furthermore, you can even water your plants with tea-infused water to make them even more beautiful.

Neutralizes bad odors

Tea is very effective at neutralizing bad odors! Whether it's sweat odors in shoes or bad smells in the refrigerator, simply place a tea bag where the odors are coming from.
Place a few used tea bags at the bottom of your bin to neutralize bad odors. Super effective and, above all, 100% natural.

Foot and hand care

Tea has long been known for its beneficial effects on the skin. The skin on our hands and feet tends to be drier and rougher than the rest of the body, so we recommend soaking them in water and tea bags. The tea will soften the skin and reduce roughness.

Treats mouth ulcers and minor everyday wounds

Tea is particularly effective for treating minor superficial wounds. If you have canker sores, place a slightly warm tea bag on them for 2-3 minutes; this will cleanse the area, reduce pain, and speed up healing.
