The cold is slowly settling in to remind us that we are approaching the festive season, with its good meals, delicious desserts and enchanting drinks.
Since we love to offer you even more tasty tea-based recipes, here are two that will be perfect to accompany your cold winter evenings: a recipe for hot cinnamon cider with tea and a mulled wine with spiced tea.
Hot cider with cinnamon tea
The ingredients
For approximately 4-5 cups:
- 3/4 liter of boiling water
- 4 bags of black tea, or apple-flavored tea
- 3/4 liter of apple cider
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- Orange slice
- Cinnamon stick
- Star anise

The preparation
Boil the water and add the black tea or apple tea. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes and then add the apple cider.
Add the honey, then the orange, cinnamon stick, and anise. Let it steep for another 10-15 minutes. Strain the drink and enjoy!
For even more indulgence, you can add a touch of milk or whipped cream.
Mulled wine with spiced tea
Here are the ingredients for about 3 cups
The ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of red wine
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 large pieces of orange peel
- 4 green tea bags
- 1/4 cup dried apples
The preparation
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the red wine, sugar, cinnamon stick, and orange peel; bring to a boil. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
Add the tea bags, cover, and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Divide among glasses and garnish with apple slices!
