In this article, we present a delicious spiced tea recipe to help you embrace the magic of fall. Prepare to be enveloped in a whirlwind of warm flavors!
Ingredients :
1 bag of black tea (or black tea blend)
1 stick of cinnamon
3 cardamom pods
3 cloves
1 slice of fresh ginger
1 tablespoon of honey
1/4 cup milk (you can use almond milk for a vegan option)
Water
Instructions :
Start by heating water in a casserole dish. You will need a cup of water for each tea bag.
While the water is heating, lightly crush the cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick with a pestle. This will release more flavors.
When the water is hot, add the crushed spices to the pot and let them steep for about 5 minutes. This will give the water a nice spicy flavor.
Then add the black tea bag and let it steep for 3-4 minutes, or until the tea reaches the desired strength.
Remove the tea bag and add the slice of fresh ginger. Leave the ginger infuser for a few minutes to give a tangy note to the tea.
In a small saucepan, heat the milk until hot but not boiling. Make sure not to burn the milk.
Pour the spiced tea into a cup. Add the honey to lightly sweeten and mix.
Then pour the hot milk into the cup, being careful not to spill.
Stir gently to mix all the ingredients.
Now, temporarily settle in with your cup of spiced tea and savor every sip. The captivating aroma of spices and the sweetness of honey combine to create a drink that perfectly evokes the essence of autumn. Whether warming you up on chilly mornings or relaxing in the evenings, this spiced tea recipe is a true celebration of the pleasures of fall. Enjoy!
